Powters Picks Up Two More Great Taste Awards!

We’re delighted to announce that another two of our products have been awarded Great Taste Awards in the 2018 judging process!

Prize Pig, our 97% ultra meaty, gluten free sausage was highly praised by the judges who remarked on their “delicate spicing and seasoning” commenting that “their fulsome texture certainly lives up to the hefty descriptor, we would be very happy to get this in to a full English” (Well we think so too, but it’s nice to be told!) .

Party Pig – our dinky little cocktail sausages, made using our highly acclaimed Newmarket Pig recipe, also picked up an award. These were remarked on as being “a meaty little sausage” and “for it’s category a fine example”.

These awards are the seal of foodie approval in the world of fine foods and highly acclaimed. The Prize Pig is currently available in all of the local Morrisons stores which we supply as well as selected Waitrose (Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket & Cambridge). Both products are always available in our Newmarket Butchery & Deli, as well as online with Free Delivery!
