Nigel Havers and Brian Turner

Nigel Havers visited our Retro Rocket on Newmarket Racecourse earlier this year to film an episode of ‘My Life On a Plate’  with Brian Turner for the BBC which was screened in the autumn.  They enjoyed hearing about the Powters Newmarket Sausage and its history – as well as tasting it in the famous Powters Hotdog served to hungry racegoers every year.  One of Nigel’s fond food memories was of Newmarket Sausages when he grew up in the area.
